Jessica Dewar

Jessica has a Bachelor of Behavioural Science Psychology Honors degree, Diploma in Management, Diploma of Personal Injury Management, is a Full Member with the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors, is an Internationally Accredited Yoga Teacher and has completed over 750+ hours of official training in Mysore, India with her teacher, Yogacharya Bharath Shetty. Jessica has been practicing yoga for over fifteen years, pursuing different styles before finding her true love in Hatha and Ashtanga. Jessica has taught over 4000 hours of yoga.

Determined to follow her love of yoga, Jessica made the life changing decision to leave her career behind completely and founded Jessica Dewar Yoga. Whist some might say this was a risky move, she would say not making the move would have been the biggest risk of all.

Ilaria Bruck

Originally from Italy, Ilaria has been practising yoga consistently for the last 10 years, first in the UK, and now here in Australia. Trained in the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa style, but enthusiastic about all yoga styles, her personal practice is strong, but mindful.

Her passion for teaching lies in empowering others to discover their bodies and their minds, to stay curious and to be present. Her classes integrate her knowledge of posture, pranayama and meditation, and she encourages her students to be true to themselves and remain playful in their practice.

She also enjoys studying ancient Yoga texts and scriptures and exploring all aspects of Yoga beyond the mat.

Outside yoga, you might find her reading, writing poetry, going for long walks or enjoying a good cup of tea.

Jasmina Mol

Jasmina strongly believes that Yoga can be beautifully adapted to anybody, any age and is passionate about sharing the joys and benefits of yoga. Her Yoga journey started when she was a teenager. Since then she has been influenced by many teachers and styles. Teaching yoga has made her a very energetic and enthusiastic person and she will bring that same energy to the classroom. Jasmina likes to combine creative sequencing with a focus on the spiritual aspect through mindful movement.

Yoga has taught Jasmina to explore herself with an open heart and open mind, without any judgements and her goal is to bring this awakening to new students.

Nat Jefferis

Before yoga became a significant part of my life, I was angry, irritable, dissatisfied and I had no idea why. Yoga has taught me about the importance of presence. I have become more self-aware of my body, but also of the language I use towards myself and others. I find myself becoming more comfortable in stillness and quiet - just being. There is so much more joy in my life now and how could I not want to share that with others!?

I also find a deep joy in teaching kids yoga. Many people, myself included, have exclaimed that they wish they were introduced to yoga at a much younger age. I have seen amazing progress in children as young as 3 in many areas - shyness turning into soaring confidence, improved balance and coordination, and amazingly the ability to be still and aware. Now with my own little one in my life I am practicing presence, breathing and patience daily and cannot wait to impart what I've learned onto him.

Gisele Cabasa

I'm originally from Spain, and started practising yoga in 2016 on my first trip to India, where an intense practice changed my life. Later on I became a yoga teacher completing 500hr YTTC in Hatha and Ashtanga yoga.

I am very happy to be part of the Jessica Dewar Yoga community, and very grateful to be able to share my passion with you all.

You will find me in the studio teaching different styles. My classes are mostly focused on alignment and movement, incorporate breathing exercises and are accessible to everybody.

Looking forward to seeing you all on the mat!

Tully Jade Demirel

I have been drawn to yoga for most of my life. My earliest memories of the practice include poring of some of my mother’s yoga books as a young child and trying to copy the poses. I fell in love with movement and the bliss you can find when you are completely absorbed in it. Growing up and throughout my twenties I moonlighted as a circus artist, specialising as a contortionist. It wasn’t until about 6 years ago, dealing with recurring injuries, that I became more committed to my yoga practice. Initially, what drew me in was the physical side of things, being able to strengthen and nurture my body while still being able to make pretty shapes with it was very appealing. Over the years, it has become so much more to me, but the changes have been mostly subtle shifts. It’s only when looking back at the whole journey I can appreciate the magnitude and how piece by piece it’s infiltrated into my mindset and lifestyle.

I have also spent over 8 years working with people with a disability and their families. During this time, I supported people to explore ways of living a more independent, enriching and fulfilled life, and helped them connect to their community.

In 2018 I completed my Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching with the Australian Yoga Academy. I’m passionate about creating an inclusive, safe and nurturing practice for everyone. I hope to teach people the beauty in breath, using the breath to find the connection with their physical self, and ultimately find their own pockets of stillness and delight.

Divyani Nag

Yoga and I found each other at my most unfit time in 2016, and we have been on one beautiful journey of restoring and unleashing strength and healing. Yoga has aided me in not only becoming fitter, but also feeling healthier, stronger and more mindful of myself and others while making me feel empowered by my own self. The many physical, emotional and mental benefits of yoga that I have experienced and witnessed first-hand are the very driving forces behind my passion to help others explore and spread the light of yoga.

I am now a 500 hrs certified yoga teacher, trained in Delhi, India, my birthplace, under the renowned yoga teacher, Seema Sondhi. I'm trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa (300hrs), Prenatal Yoga (100 hrs) & Yin Yoga (100hrs), with Yoga Alliance International accreditation.

My style of teaching incorporates both Yin & Yang, and I am experienced in vinyasa flow, power yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga, yoga therapy & prenatal yoga. I include pranayama and meditation as well as some yoga philosophy in all my classes. My teaching practice revolves around the belief that anyone can practice yoga as long as one is willing to give oneself a little amount of time and love.
