Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.

Welcome yogis to Yoga for Low Back Pain. It’s unfortunate you are here, as back pain is not fun, but let me assure you there is hope. Trust me, I know where you are!
As a sufferer of chronic low back pain myself, with 5 bulging discs and scoliosis, Yoga for Low Back Pain was born out of a passion to share what has worked for me. My personal experience with chronic low back pain combined with my 10 year career in Rehabilitation (working alongside some of the top specialists in the country) has certainly taught me a thing or two when it comes to managing back pain and strengthening the back
Low back pain is becoming increasingly common in today’s day and age. Living sedentary lives, sitting at computer desks for much of the day, hunched over mobile phones, and long commutes to and from work are just some examples for why low back pain is on the rise. And unfortunately, it is likely most of us have or will experience low back pain at some point in our lives. So let’s get excited about introducing some preventative and healing steps forward to better manage low back pain.
While severe back pain should always be examined by a doctor, chronic and moderate-level back pain can often be assisted with a regular yoga practice. Yoga can be extremely beneficial in naturally strengthening and lengthening your spine, stretching your muscles, and improving your back’s alignment, which can often be a root cause of persistent back pain.
