Sarah’s love of yoga started 17 years ago when she moved from the south of France to Australia. As a dedicated asana, pranayama and meditation practitioner, she believes that she will forever stay a student curious to learn and explore further this vast wisdom. Sarah has completed her advanced diploma of teaching as well as her meditation teacher training at the renowned Australian Yoga Academy in Melbourne and is currently studying tantra hatha with the incredible Rod Stryker. Soon, she will be attending workshops with Tara Judelle and Elena Brower and is planning to do her Yin teacher training at the start of next year.
As a teacher, she likes to guide students to practice with safe alignments that also feel good for all bodies, with a strong connection to the breath (Being able to breathe well is more important than being able to do a headstand), inner self and explores themes that they will be able to take off the mat and integrate into their everyday life. Her classes are flowing, integrating elements of mindfulness, challenging and restorative at the same time, suitable for all levels.
What is yoga for me? It’s a tool that helps us connect on a deeper level with ourselves so we can understand who we truly are, free of conditioning and everything else that holds us back. Yoga gives us access to self-empowerment and self-awareness and helps us our life more fully.
‘A life in yoga is a blessed life’ – Rod Stryker
