Ruth started practicing yoga to heal and recover from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as a teenager. She moved from Perth to Melbourne three years ago to grow into herself and have magical adventures. At that time yoga provided a strong sense of direction and she was drawn to enroll in a 200 hour yoga teacher training in April 2017. After it transformed her life she completed a 500 hour teacher training in October 2017, Kids Yoga teacher training with Rainbow Yoga in November 2017 and then her 800 hour Cert IV TT in April 2018. She found after her training that teaching children and teenagers came effortlessly and simply flowed. Being a big kid at heart, she strives to bring out the best in each child, honouring their unique being and providing a space for them to play, express themselves and connect to their bodies confidently and safely.
Learning and sharing yoga is her purpose, a way to bring light to the world one practice at a time. She hopes to make a difference to as many people as possible. Her own difficult journey to health has created a drive to guide children towards their own well-being and to give them the tools to grow into balanced, happy human beings.
