Discovering yoga in 2003 in Vancouver, Canada where she is originally from, Rosy has been practicing ever since. She appreciates yoga as a pathway to gaining strength and freedom from stiffness in body and mind. Yoga inspires her to live each moment more mindfully and with a greater sense of inner peace.
After completing a 200 hour Power Vinyasa teacher training course at the Australian Yoga Academy in 2011, Rosy began teaching. In 2015, she traveled to Sampoorna Yoga in Goa, India for an additional 300 hours of training in Vinyasa Flow and Yin. She’s also studied levels 1 & 2 Yin teacher training from Jennifer Crescenzo in Melbourne. With a background that includes massage training and Reiki, Rosy incorporates short, optional massages into her Yin classes.
Through an ongoing self practice and participation in yoga and meditation retreats, Rosy has developed a balanced approach to teaching. Her passions are creative sequencing, meditation, pranayama, music and enabling a welcoming, environment to practice in. Rosy’s intention is for students to step off the mat feeling energised, nourished and peaceful.
