Michaela McCaw

With a background in contemporary dance, Michaela began her Yoga journey after a trip to India. After always finding presence and peace in her body through movement, Yoga became the perfect fit to deepen her sense of self and creating peace. This lead her to complete her 200hr teacher training in 2017 and grew her practice with a deep interest in utilising the body as a means of awakening. She now teaches predominately Hatha Flow and Yin and her classes are inspired by mindful embodied movement. 

Michaela feels that yoga is a powerful way for us all to be able to connect with ourselves and with each other, and hopes to be able to help others experience how powerful and accepting the practice is. She aims to share its power to assist people in progressing through times of difficulty and believes in its ability to unite us all to our bodies, to our minds and to the world around us.

Her classes aim to build a deep sense of connection within yourself on and off of the mat. With a love for creative flows that aim to nurture and empower students throughout their experience, students should expect a slower, juicier practice paired with some hypnotic flowing beats that’ll be sure to make them want to move
