Based on traditional Hatha Yoga, this class emphasizes technique, tradition, alignment and inspiration. You will learn the power of connecting body, breath and mind through performing carefully sequenced asanas (postures), creating more body awareness, strength and flexibility with each practice.

The most ancient practice of yoga, Hatha Yoga is best understood as the preparatory stage for physical purification that the body practices for higher meditation or yoga. It is based on asanas(postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques). Asanas are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. But don’t be fooled into thinking this is an easy or gentle beginners only practice. When taught correctly, Hatha Yoga is the epitome of power yoga.
