In her teens, Georgia practised yoga to complement her full time ballet studies. Later in life she came back to yoga, while living in Jakarta Indonesia. Often housebound due to bad traffic or flooding, she reconnected with yoga via the internet. She then studied with a well respected local teacher for 3 years. These classes taught her the value of incrementally building a sound foundation in the practice of yoga, before progressing.
On return to Melbourne, Georgia completed the year long 350hr, Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching, at the Australian Yoga Academy. She also volunteers as a yoga teacher at Auburn High School.
Georgia loves to move slowly, with intention and connected to breath. Her teaching style is informed by her dance experience, but not governed by it. She enjoys guiding students, respectfully and playfully, through movement and postures, into rest and relaxation.
