Gentle Yoga

Suited to those seeking a slow flowing practice to allow time to notice the momentary pause at the fullness of the in-breath. That special hesitation to linger a while in a movement, as the benefit to the body, mind or emotional state is felt.

The focus is on creating a practice that is steady, comfortable and pleasant, in which students can explore their new boundaries, as they build strength, mobility and balance and become more connected with their bodies through the breath... the slow deep diaphragmatic breath. 

Am I suited to Gentle Yoga?

If you haven’t practiced yoga before and are curious, or you are returning to yoga after a long lapse due to illness or circumstance, or if you just want a gently moving practice to warm your energy levels, this is a safe space for you.

Students of all ages and levels of experience welcome.
