… 6.00am yoga
For some it sounds like torture but there is something very special about practicing yoga first thing in the morning that you need to experience first-hand to appreciate.
There are also some super awesome benefits to starting your day with a morning practice!
1) It sets the tone for your day.
Think about it – if you begin your day feeling stretched, strong and relaxed, you will carry this into your day. Stress levels remain lower, tolerance is improved (we can all do with that!) and you feel more in control of your mental state.
2) It will improve your sleep.
Goodbye insomnia! In preparation for an early morning, your body knows when it’s time for bed. Those eyes will close the moment the head hits the pillow. But here’s the amazing part – you’ll start to wake up before your alarm. Crazy we know! You’re body will know when it’s had enough sleep and you’ll wake up energised and excited for the day ahead.
3) Learn the food your body does and doesn’t like!
How? When you practice in the morning, your body will either feel amazing and light if you ate well the day before, or heavy and cramped if you ate foods you’re body is not a fan of (and we all know that feeling!). This is a really obvious lesson that can help you to make long-term healthier choices to suit your body’s needs every single day.
4) Feel healthier overall.
When you begin your day with a practice that not only moves the physical body but also encourages mindful breath, your whole body awareness dramatically changes. You will begin to respect your body and mind in ways you may not have in the past. To be more compassionate toward yourself and others. For example - by starting your day with a detoxifying yoga practice, the last thing you want to do is eat unhealthy foods or engage in stressful experiences. Rather, you’ll start to look out for yourself more. And from this place, you are guaranteed to begin leading the happier, healthier life we all seek.

Our challenge to you is just to take our word for it and try. In just 3 short weeks, practicing Monday to Friday, you could change your entire outlook on not only your day, but on your life. We know this to be true because it has happened for us.
BUT, if you don’t notice any change but the end of it, then there is nothing lost. You can go back to sleeping in and afternoon classes if you like.
