I first started yoga 18 years ago but had to stop due to family commitment. And luckily or unluckily due to knee pain from osteoarthritis, I have resumed my yoga journey to strengthen the muscles 4 years ago and been practicing yoga actively ever since. Yoga has profoundly changed my life and improved my health. I continue to learn and grow within my own practice. It has positively impacted my life in so many ways which is why I am so passionate about sharing it with others.
As a yoga teacher, dancer and a mother of 2, I love to serve others. Helping people and appreciate the skin that they are in while inspiring and motivating them to find new ways to challenge themselves and create new goals. I am absolutely fascinated by the human body and how it works. I believe in living a healthy and balanced life full of love, gratitude and fun. These feelings inform and guide my teaching and practice, which is focused on helping people better connect to themselves and their surroundings.
I have 200 hr RYT and 60 hr Yin Teacher Training qualification. My mission as a yoga instructor is to help my students feel comfortable in their practice, learn essential postures, build strength, enhance capacity and ensure a safe practice for everyone.
I specialise in vinyasa yoga, slow flow and yin style. I serve a wide range of students from the total beginner, the young and flexible, to the seasoned yogi, those with injuries and in advanced years. My classes are dynamic and flowing offering an athletic style of yoga partnered with a focus on breathing to create a mind body balance. They incorporate a restorative style to aid in recuperation of bodies suited to each individual.
