Last night, while looking through some pictures of a woman who inspired me to follow my heart, it occurred to me just how passionate teachers of yoga can become. Before leaving for India, I knew I loved yoga - I did. But i didn’t realise how fundamentally important this practice would become in my life. By learning from the most inspirational teacher, combined with hours of work, this practice has become so ingrained that I realise I’m constantly ‘living’ yoga. Whether it be sitting on the floor at home or reading about the yoga sutras, my life has gravitated heavily towards deepening my knowledge of this incredible practice. What this has also done, is draw me to like minded people. People who also respect this ancient art form and want to share in the endless benefits. Here in Melbourne, people are registering to attend outdoor classes with me (in Winter) just to get their bodies moving. It’s amazing! And more often than not, the people who do practice, are such lovely, gentle people. I truly couldn’t think of a nicer way to spend my time than with those who also want to share in the yoga love. Freezing or not freezing.
With that said, if anyone would like to join me in the outdoors sometime, here in Melbourne, then register via this link.
Enjoy this beautiful Wednesday and be sure to keep warm!
